Participants will increase their knowledge and
comfort in teaching sexuality issues and will know how to
integrate sex education into pre-marital and
marital education and enhancement programs.

Training will be interactive with simulations,role-plays,and small group
discussions.

Handouts, exercises  guidelines will be provided as well
as reprints.

17. Respecting and dealing with religious and value differences
18. Sexual initation, refusal and alternative patterns

20. Cohabitation issues
21. Six month program to develop a couple sexual style

Barry McCarthy Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist, certified marriage and sex
therapist, and professor of psychology at American University. He has
published 75 professional articles, 20 book chapters, and presented 250
workshops nationally and internationally. With his wife, Emily he has
authored Discovering Your Couple Sexual Style (2009), Rekindling Desire (2003),
Getting It Right the First Time (2004), and Getting It Right This Time (2005).
With Michael Metz he has authored Coping With Premature Ejaculation (2003),
Coping With Erectile Dysfunction (2004), and Men's Sexual Health (2007).
