Warm it Up: Facilitator Skills and Activities Training

You�ve taken the classes, got certification, now learn how to become a great presenter.
Gain confidence as you practice a variety of exercises designed to enhance group learning, deal
with difficult people, develop your personal teaching style plus learn applications to different
types of groups.

Now is the time to master your facilitation skills!

You will learn how to become the great presenter you have always wanted to be and
will learn keys to winning a group  within the first few minutes of  teaching.  Participants will learn a
variety of icebreakers and activities designed to enhance all kinds of group learning. Topics of
the institute will include adult learning styles, developing your own personal teaching style,
and dealing with difficult people as well as learning a number of experiential exercises designed
to enhance any group learning experience.

Participants will work within small and large groups and will have a very "hands on" experience.
The training will also include cognitive and affective learning, trust building, and creating a comfort
zone for group members

Throughout the day activities and exercises will be demonstrated to cover a variety of group topics
to include communication, team building and icebreakers. Participants will learn a number of techniques
and exercises designed to enhance learning for specific groups to include marital, teen, parenting and stepfamilies

Participants will receive the Warm It UP Facilitators Manual which includes facilitator tips
and techniques and over fifty specific group activities and exercises.

The instructors have taught classes and facilitated groups for thousands of participants
including PREP classes, the nurturing program, 7 habits, couples communication,
stepfamily classes and adolescent groups.   They have developed  fun,
creative experiential activities guaranteed to warm up any group.   This one-day experience will
sharpen your skills and give you lots of fresh and creative ideas to help you implement and make successful
whatever  new programs you plan to teach.
